Get Used To The Weekends in Hello

I'm going to have to get used to having weekends off again. Been about eight years since I worked a job where I worked during the week and had them to myself. I was off today and this upcoming Friday is my last day before the new job. Melissa has Sunday's off as well and we planned on hanging out on which we did. We ended up going for coffee, then to Zero Gravity (hippie shop) to look around, then to the mall to walk around and window shop. After that to the theater to catch the Lego Movie which I've been dying to watch.

It was SO funny. Especially the Star Wars part.

After the film, on the way home, I showed her where my new job will be. Then we came back home and have a lovely pot roast dinner with squash casserole and baked beans with mom. She left here not too long ago.

The feelings at work have been weird. I know I'll miss the people I've worked with over the last four years but situations keep arising that reminds me that I'm glad I'm quitting...such as one of my uber bitchy older coworkers. We butted heads heavily last night almost to the point where I wanted to back her in a corner and dog cuss her to her face, reminding her I am human and you do not talk to me like that. But, no...I resolved myself to be calm. However I did let my displeasure be known and I wasn't taking any of her shit. If anything I've learned that I have a backbone since working there and do not let people treat me like shit.

Tomorrow I've got to be there at 6:15 AM. Only three more shifts this week and I'm out the door. So weird. The day I dreamed of is approaching but never really expect it to be there...until it is actually there. This is what accomplishments feel like I guess.
