To continue, it is truly Springtime in the Rockies. Yesterday and the day before we were in the 70's...really! Clouds moving in this morning for an afternoon of heavy, wet snow. Seems like this time to year it snows a couple of times a week. But then the wonderful Colorado sunshine comes out and the snow just sort of disappears...evaporates, mostly, with little or no run-off.
Today is Bible study. We had some homework this week, and very out-of-character for me, I didn't get all the questions answered. They require some real soul-searching and I need to think about them some more...
Then this afternoon Bob and I play bridge with some of the ladies here in our building. That is always an interesting couple of hours. They are all in their 80's or 90's and sometimes I tend to think they don't know what they're doing. LOL. Why do they always win the "money", then?
Friday is our anniversary. 56 years. Since we married young--I was barely 20 and he was 24--and we had only known each other for 6 months, people thought it would never last. Well, maybe it won't, but we're having a good time as long as it does!!
Anyhow, we will go out somewhere for dinner. Have invited Mike and Jeri to go with us, since their anniversary is next week. I think it's 32 for them.
I have been working on another crocheted blanket. If you've been reading aunty EM for a long time, you might remember those years when I was making two or more a month for a charity that provided needy newborns, especially premies, with layettes through the local hospitals. I don't hear from them anymore, so don't know if they are still operating or not. Guess I'd better find out since I will have four blankets on hand to give to somebody. Silly old woman.
(EDIT) I see PB is acting up again for me and part of this is appearing in draft-mode. I just don't understand why that is.
