• That little cottage once on the corner of Narragansett and Sunset Cliffs is gone now. They bulldozed down the cottage, the trees, and the ambience of old OB, and replaced it with 1990’s stucco. You know I don’t approve.
• The 10 some new meds they gave me have altered my world. Nothing smells the same, tastes the same, or acts the same. Dear G complains that I never finish my morning coffee anymore. It doesn’t taste like coffee. My hair is getting straight again. I miss my curls. My driving is erratic too.
• I aimed to take a shower this morning. In the end, at almost ten AM, I was discouraged by the 9AM water shut off time. Can’t you just see me all lathered up and ready to rinse just when they finally turn off the water.
• A group called the WE Group is having a Thanksgiving potluck. Just the sort of people we like and know too. “We could do that,” G tells me. Sounds like fun to me. Now what do we bring.
• Monday G had an appointment with our orthopedic guy. Now a MRI is the next scheduled thing. (I’m so glad he is doing something.) In the evening was the Spring Roundup Committee meeting. I begged off and didn’t feel guilty at all reading and watching Antiques Roadshow…a two hour special.
• Tuesday is my heart doctor appointment.
• Wednesday is that defining CT scan. Mine. No more medical things this week. HURRAH!!!!
