Yesterday in In My World

My brother and I were in Walmart today to buy the switch I’ve been saving for and some groceries and animal stuff. I had already bought the switch and a game.

While we were in line checking out for the groceries and animal stuff, the cashier, the man behind me and I were having a conversation about being sick and working in childcare. All my stuff was done being scanned and the man behind me tells me not to put my card in.

He told me and the cashier he was going to pay for me and that its something he does sometimes. This man I’ve never met in my life just paid for my $165 bill. I thanked him about 20 times and I still feel like it wasn’t enough.

I have never been more grateful to some random stranger and I have never felt more like I had a guardian angel watching over me.

I immediately put that money in my savings and I am going to figure out a way to pay it forward. I want to spread the kindness and have someone feel like I do right now.

I am so fucking grateful.
