Rocky’s going to take me out for dinner at Red Lobster when he gets home, for my birthday. It was Sunday. With all this going on with Destiny I had failed to mention it I think.

I was talking to her again just a little bit ago. She will be telling her youngest daughter (10) that her big sister (13) will be moving in this evening. (She’s waiting till Critter gets home for support). I’ll call after dinner to see how that went. I’m sure Alyssa will be genuinely excited. Details: Gabby will be staying at her Grandmother’s house for a week (Destiny’s mom’s). Destiny’s mother is going to drive her to and from school for the next week at the school she’s been going to. Destiny will get her shot records and birth cert. and such things over that week and get her enrolled in school near home. Destiny is planning on staying Saturday and Sunday night at her moms house at least.... possibly with Alyssa.

We had some God talk when I talked to her.... someone I know had posted something on FB .... A Steve Harvey motivational moment with a couple stories about making a place for the blessing to be received. If you don’t have a place you can’t receive it. The first story was with him as a kid in his first job. He had a car and had worked on it but just couldn’t get it to run. He would go to work and each payday he would say to his mother “I’m gonna get me a new car” and his mother would say ” I know son but you have your old one up on blocks in the back.” each time he was paid he’d say this and each time she would reply the same way. He knew she was trying to tell him something because that’s how his parents taught him things.... making him think for himself and all. Finally after 6 times he said “I’m trying to be positive, why do you keep bringing up the old car that I can’t get running” and she told him “You don’t have a place for a new car” so he went and paid to have his old car hauled off. He bought some stuff to clean the concrete and made the place for his new car. 2 weeks later he got his new car. “I was not prepared to receive that blessing.”

The second story was where he was telling the one above to a lady waiting for “Mr. Right” who in the mean time had been dating a married man. They met at the same restaurant for 2 years twice a week. Same table, same time. The man would tip the host well for holding that specific table. Steve told her the story above and she decided that she did not have a place for “Mr. Right” and broke it off with the married man. A few months went by and she hadn’t been back to that restaurant. The host saw her one day out in public and asked her why she hadn’t been back in a while. She explained that she was no longer seeing that man. The host replied “I always wondered what you were doing with a guy like that. You are the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen and I was waiting.” They started seeing each other and were married a year later. They have 2 kids. The woman was working at a bank and worked with her husband and he bought the restaurant and 2 others. Now makes 2 million a year. .... He was that missing piece for her and she for him but until she made a place you receive him it could not have happened.

I told her that this has to be true for her and all this. She has a man who cares for her and her children. She has a home with space for her children but without those thing she is unable to receive Gabby. Why now? why are they just dropping Gabby into her lap. I don’t know, God works in mysterious ways?.... Destiny is ready to receive her.

much more calm an entry.... still angry … still painfully empathetic .... but this is much better then just being angry

I reminded Destiny that my birthday was yesterday “I need to tell you something but before I do I need you to know you are already forgiven and what you have going in is far bigger. Yesterday was my birthday.” There was an I”m sorry and laughter and a few repeats of what I said lmao. It was funny, no way could I be upset that she didn’t remember. This is way too big a thing.
