First Week in Hello

Smokey is warming my lap.

The first week at work with by smooth. On Wednesday I finally brought my headphones and rocked out all day while machining. Friday was boring as hell. Had to sit on the computer ALL day reading process and procedure manuals for training purposes. Ugh.

I’m off today and have been productive. Went to Chik Fil A to turn in my uniform and grab lunch then stopped off at Barnes & Nobel to order the last dour books in the Southern Victory series then off to Kroger to cash in fuel points. .40 cents off a gallon is a damn good deal.

The weather has FINALLY gotten cooler. It was nice to drive with the windows down and enjoy the breeze.

In a few I’m gonna clean out the grill and put some chicken on. Spinach, zucchini, corn and something else…maybe potatoes. Not sure yet. I’d like a good home cooked meal tonight. Had the Chinese buffet last night and it was really good. Had to waddle out of there.

Tomorrow night I start third shift. I stayed up late last night and slept in today. I know I’ll be dragging ass halfway through the shift. Joy!

Anyways, off to get the grill started.

I think Peyton is adorable in this vid.

Doing 80 down the highway with this blasting was the highlight of my week. 😎
