I am so glad Spring is almost here after our unusually cold winter. Although the mornings have been quite cool, the days are warming up more and more in the afternoons.

I drove out to Magnolia Gardens Saturday afternoon, and once in the front gate entered a totally new seasonal tableaux greeted me. It was like I was going from one world to another. Spring was all around me. A gorgeous azalea bush in full bloom, lavender and pink red bud trees also in bloom, and the daffodils. Wow! They were everywhere. Not to mention winter's flower ,the camellia, having its own stunning displays of color in the historic garden. I loved taking it all in, the cool air, the vividness of the flowers and the cloud formations that bespoke changing seasons. You know it's the season of rebirth. You can very much feel it in the air and see it everywhere around you.

Oh you have given me a breath of fresh air. These are delights I won't see in person for another 2 months, maybe longer. Lovely photographs. What a pleasant day you must have had. Thank you for sharing.

such glorious spring blooms renew hope after the dreadful winter you have all had over there. Glad you can enjoy your amazing Magnolia Gardens all year round. Down here we are now embracing autumn and things have suddenly started to cool. hugs p

I can almost breathe in the fresh air of spring! All the more reason to be there instead of here - we're expecting more snow tomorrow and missed work yesterday because of the weather.

Beautiful pictures ! Spring has not come to Illinois yet and I am half glad because that is when we get tornadoes. I love it when all the flowers start to come but it scares me too.
