These are the times that make monsters of
men and saints of a handful of sinners.
These are the times, again and again
we all lose if we try to be “winners”.
These are the times of friend against friend
of warring to even get warm beds and dinners.
These are the times we must get through our heads
to give up on ancient lies of trying for “winners”.
Fuck being “winners”
be good people instead.
