instead of asking other people
to build an arts scene for you
build it and do all the maintenance
so you can enjoy the fruits of labour
get out there and stick your neck out
go out there and build one yourself
if you wanna make a scene
you gotta make a scene
there isn’t a happening
unless you go make it happen
I tried running off with the circus
I never really got that far
so I had to build a circus
in my own backyard
no one owes it to you
if you really want it
you gotta just do
