Watching paint dry in Stuff

Yes, this entry is as exciting as it’s title.

I don’t have anything to write about other than my wall has been fixed! I would post a pic of it, but you don’t need to see paint drying. I’m sure my entries are exciting enough as it is :P
But yeah, I’m excited about it! Turns out the guy had the paint already with him, so I didn’t need to buy more. It’s pretty much near perfect. Like, I can’t even tell I made a stupid mistake.
So yeah, considering he came back here twice, I was happy to pay him the $60. Initially it seemed generous but hey, considering he was an actual licenced tradie, I think I got a good deal. There were a few stuff-arounds with days and times but it got done! And the paint doesn’t even smell at all. Our inspection is in four days so I hope it goes well. I intend to not be home for it, cos like, how awkward. I will have a bit of time to clean up Sunday after work and spot-clean before I take off while they are here.

Being the first day of the month, today was bill-paying-day. I tend to hold off paying the credit card until the first of each month so that I can earn more interest on the money I actually have lol. I dunno, seems to work for me. I also paid the household bills… oh geez, I’m writing about paint drying and paying bills. Time to pack it in!

Off to the movies tonight to see ‘The Lion King’ with Moe. My housemate has already seen it and he quite liked it, so I probs will too. I dunno why Moe keeps insisting on seeing it at Event Cinemas, considering their high prices, when I keep telling him there are better (and cheaper) venues around. I’m so used to paying $6.50 for the movies at Southbank here, but apparently he has no issue with dropping $20+ at a time, and that’s without the $15 popcorn and a drink ($8 at Southbank). Oh well, I figure it’s not very often, and I certainly don’t get to see Moe as often anymore since he just bought a house with his boyfriend and all. I’m sure he will bitch about Steve when I see him, but those two always bitch about each other lol.

Then I have to head home pretty much soon after as I have my big day at work tomorrow. Still getting used to this hour-lunch-on-Fridays thing. I even considered doing a cardio session during it, as I’d have time to haha. Am I crazy? I’m trying to put the weight back on that I lost, but I’m sure there’s other benefits.
