Todd's gonna mow now in Second 1st

So, I’m sure I had told you guys that we were going to pay someone to do the lawn because Rocky’s now working 2 jobs and all....and he’s a bit lazy when it comes to the lawn.... or his ADHD goes on overdrive or whatever.... don’t care… fact is the lawn wasn’t getting mowed… So....

We had a guy come and mow the lawn. H said he was going to come every 2 weeks for 45. The first cut was $75 because it was grown pretty good. I understand, cool.... well he cut it pretty high and said Ï”m not in the habit of making the lawn look like a hay field. I’ll come back in the next couple days and trim give it a better cut.” .... cool.... except he hasn’t. That was last Thursday (this being Sunday).

Rocky and I have already talked about finding someone else.... for the obvious reason that we have been taken for $75 bucks and got 1/2 a cut.

That being said Todd came by today .... he actually wanted to buy one of the car cell phone mounts I have. We talked a bit and he said he mows lawns for extra cash sometimes. “How much?”Looked around and said he’d charge $80 a month! Not first cut fee and it’s someone I know.... well enough anyway. I mean if I ran out on a meet I could easily leave my door unlocked and I don’t feel strange about him coming in to get a drink or use the bathroom or anything. He has been over enough with Kerri and Joseph that I’m really not worried. He said he’ll be over 2-3 times in a month and to just let him know if it’s getting long.

I’m again unnaturally excited because it looks like crap and I know Todd (and his son) are going to give it a good cut.

That being said.... they are using our mower. I don’t mind at all. However, it was at Eddie’s.... and I had to ask him to pass it over the fence.... then the damn thing didn’t want to start. I’m going to pass an extra 10 for the fixing it.... Todd’s a real guy guy.... ya know? like.... hard working guy ya know.... I mean like fixes cars and get all sweaty and does things in a timely manner. I’m not saying your not a guy if you don’t. I”m just saying he’s manly man lol

Rocky’s Birthday is tomorrow so I’m really glad I’m getting the lawn done tonight. he’s going to be happily confused when he gets home and I’ll explain it tomorrow.

I did send the other guy a text “Thank you for mowing the lawn last week but we will no longer need your services.” To which he replied. Ï was just doing it to be respectful for following through on you” which I do not understand at all. i mean he didn’t follow through.... and if he means following through on the quote then he should have actually mowed or told my he did not have room on his schedule this year. It’s okay though.... Todd’s got me....
