Golden Girls in Adventures in paradise

Today was a nice relaxing day. All moved into the new hotel, and it's just as fabulous as when I stayed here last time. Although, one major difference is they offer free unlimited wifi!! They certainly didn't have that last time.

Tonight I went to The Golden Girls puppet play. I had no idea what to expect. It turned out to be a very cool concept, with the actors acting alongside the puppets. They even had the voices pretty much downpact! Dorothy was the only puppet controlled by a man haha.

Turns out that theatre is way closer to the backpackers where I was, but because I'm right up the other end of town now, near the Harbour bridge, it took me 45 minutes to walk each way. And the dreary rain hadn't let up all friggin day. At least with Brisbane rain, it generally buckets down for a while and then pisses off. Not this all-day crap.

I was very thankful that I took my tablet along to the performance, because after the show, they asked the front row to stay back for photos with the cast. Of course, at that point in time exactly, my lovely phone decided to shit itself lol. My God. Talk about panic attack. Everyone else had almost finished getting their pics taken, and I doubt the staff were going to wait for me to wait for my piece of shit phond to reload and take forever in the process. I hadnt even taken a pic yet! It just shut down on me! It was at that point that I realised I'd brought my tablet, as I screenshotted the directions on how to get to the theatre on it. Phew!
