My kids talk about moving a lot. They are excited about the thought, although it is still a while off. They talk about choosing their rooms. They talk about the animals they want. Hell I talk about the animals I want. I have successfully convinced my youngest we aren’t getting a horse. Just no. Too much work. She was wanting a milking goat, which would be fun to have fresh milk though I would prefer cow. But I also shot that down with we would need to have a male and we would have to have babies and have something to do with them. She has decided just a female goat is fine, no milker. Good deal. I can handle that. Well, whenever they mention animals around dad he shoots it down with a no. I understand we have to be able to afford to have them before we get them. But don’t just shoot it down. I’ve got news for him… this house is in my name and only my name. When I sell it that is my money, considering it has been his money going into the payments for a while I guess not really but still. I will do what I want with the money, aka I will pocket what I can and save it. But I also do want to get some livestock if we have enough room. I also need to get a few more dogs for my breeding program but that will be in steps. The thing is I can’t get a puppy until I have a litter to sell. Sell puppies to purchase one. Sounds like a good agreement. Technically it will be the selling of a couple puppies that will pay for any other animals I have. Who knows how it will all work out.
I love my husband but sometimes I don’t. Sometimes I think he’s an idiot. Hey lets throw this tire into the garbage and garbage will pick it up. Well, no they wont if it wont come out. He tried last week and it go stuck in the bin. Ok sure keep putting it in and reducing the room for actual garbage. I have an idea of how to make it into a tire swing but that wont fly with him. He says it’s too small. But really if you put it horizontal instead of vertical it would work. But I wont argue with him. He is man he knows best. I am bound and determined to be able to do whatever I want without him. If it is tilling my garden I can do it. If it is bbqing I will do it. I will be able to make payments on the house without him also if need be, I can work if I have to. I guess what I am saying is just because he is man doesn’t mean everything has to be his way.
My mom and I took my kids out swimming today. While we were there a group of about 4 teachers from my kids’ school showed up with their kids. I never heard any of them acknowledge each other. The kids enjoyed it. Though they were cold when we got done. That wind was chilly. We might go more often which would be good. They want to swim and all it costs to go there is gas. I paid for a 2 year pass so yeah, I’ll do it again too.
I guess I’m off now.
