Harley in Current Events

The climate in this house was a little sad yesterday. Matt, my brother in law, took Harley, their family dog, to the vet to see what was going on with her right eye. It’s completely black. Turns out that her eye pressure is at 70% and if the medication they gave her does not work she will have to lose her eye. Actually, no matter what happens Harley is going to have to lose that eye in the end. That procedure will too costly to save this 12 year old so Matt is going to take Harley to his mother’s out of town and put a bullet in her. He is taking her back to the vet today to see if the medication is working. They do not know the cause of this but we all suspect a tumour.

A few entries ago I was hating on dogs because of my other sister’s decision to stay in a house that she and her boyfriend could not afford because they did not want to give up their dog. I felt bad that I had put that thought into the universe so I started taking Harley out for walks. She doesn’t get out enough by her owners so I decided to step up a bit. Matt thinks that it will be on Monday when they will have to put Harley down. He will be working out of town so he will have to get his mother to come to pick up the dog. He really wants to be around when it happens so he can talk about it with his daughter.

Miranda, my other sister, sent me a text the other day to let me know that she called the Humane Society to get an update on her animals. They`ve all found homes. Do you think that they would lie about it? I dunno.
