Off to Sydney! in Adventures in paradise

Last night, I hopped out of the shower, standing in just my underwear, and I turn to look in the loungeroom (expecting to meet my new housemate) and there was a random drag queen sitting there on our couch.

Never seen her before.

Apparently Aiden (nice Aiden) must have gone out drinking and got completely hammered because he fucked things up with his boyfriend or something-or-rather, and this drag queen was randomly brought home with him. I kind of gave her an awkward wave and then retreated to my room.

It was a few minutes later I heard all this banging going on upstairs and then yelling from my landlord, "Aiden! Aiden! Get this THING out of here!" I literally BURST out laughing when I heard him refer to her as a 'thing' when she would've been right there.

I found out today that she'd apparently tried to go into my landlord's room 3 times. Not only that, she tried to get into the new housemates bed with him in the loungeroom but he pretty much told her to fuck off lol.

Next thing I heard was the drag queen leaving. I'd locked my door too, in case she tried to come in here.

I finally met the new housemate. Still not sure what I think of him yet. He seems harmless enough, but time will tell.

I'm just writing a quick update before I have a bit of a sleep and then head off to the Gold Coast to catch my flight to Sydney! I finished my final shift tonight (besides being an hour late for work lol) and I'm now officially on holidays!! I'm not sure what I'm gunna bring to Sydney with me, but I've packed everything and printed off my boarding pass. I've got all my tickets to the events I'm attending, although I'm a little annoyed one of them hasn't arrived in time, so I've sent them an enquiry as to how I can get that ticket, because it's tomorrow night and I REALLY don't wanna miss it!! I guess I'll just have to get over it if they can't give me a replacement (if they even sent the one I ordered that is) and not let it get to me. It did seem a little dodgy the way I had to order it through some guys Paypal account etc. I intend to have fun and pretty much spend my first few days there exploring the city and surrounds :) I'm going to take either this laptop or just my tablet with me, so I should be able to update whilst I'm there at nighttime. Wish me luck!! So exciting! :)
