"i don't know about those lesbians" wow. well then. in 2007: March 1: transferred fom FOD

so. my sister’s um. judgemental.

so fri. at lunch: my mom told us [my sister, dad & i] about the recent news story. in which. a lesbian had punched a police officer. that’s all i know. after which. my sister said “i don’t know about those lesbians...........” as in. i’m not sure that i like them. wow. well then. not that [again i’m bisexual. but the point being] i was planning to come out to my sister before, that happened but i’m certainly not going to now. before. she said that. cause i wasn’t. um. wow. i felt. offended. she & i don’t talk, about the big things. i just. i’m ok, w/ that. w/ how our relationship is.

 ok so 1. the news. certainly doesn’t help. no i get it. if someone anyone is seen in a negative view [not saying it’s bad. cause it’s not, depending] then. ..........well. i............ok so. let me change that wording: on the show ‘modern family’. which a lot of people like. there is a gay couple. and they seem really loving and happy and. good just good people ya know? i guess. my point to that is. it depends on. someone’s viewpoint. some of those viewpoints i will never agree w/ but i agree that it does depend. and 2. those are the only 2 facts i have about that news story. i don’t have the full facts and i’m willing to admit that. but. from what i’ve heard/watched. in the 1960’s this was. the way LGBTQ+ people were seen. we were seen in a negative um. light. and a lot of people were making an effort to change that............but. in a way. the time period had nothing to do w/ it cause even now some people unfortunately. still see us that way. i mean i don’t. which brings me to my next point.

 i think. in my view. the news only [at least the u.s. news dependent on the station/channel/time of day] perpetuates the idea. that, some. people of the LGBTQ+ comm. are um. aggressive. and angry. well. yes of course we are. i’d think anyone would be. btw. i have no problem w/ anyone of any sexuality. All are welcome.

 but being angry is. is a..........fuk it’s a human emotion. it has nothing to do w/ one’s sexuality! um............wow. sorry but i’m quite bothered by this.

um. wow.
