This is your basic all healing type salve. Good for burns, scratches and wounds.

create an infusion of the leaf by doing the following.
Collect fresh plantain leaves. These likely grow in your yard. Collect as much or as little as you like.

Cut or tear into smaller pieces and fill a food safe jar.
Pour either olive oil or fractionated coconut oil, or almond oil or your favorite carrier oil. Enough to cover the leaves with room. Seal the jar well. Shake.
My infusions are only 1 cup of oil and plant. I prefer small batches.

Shake the jar several times a day to ix the oils of the fresh plant and the carrier oil. I keep it on the window and shake every time i see it.

Keep in the oil for a minimum of 7 days. The longer, the richer your oil will be.

When your infusion is finished. Create your salve.

Mix 1 part bees or soy wax with 1 part shea butter.
Melt slowly in a double boiler till mixed.
Add in 5-10 drops of tea tree oil.

Smooth version.
Strain your oil and leaf infusion though cheesecloth to remove chunks of leaves.

Chunky version.
with a blender, chop and mix leaves and oil together. Do not remove chunks of leaves.

Slowly mix the infusion with the melted contents of your double boiler.
Place directly in food safe jars with lids. Close and allow mixture to harden It will harden as it cools.

Apply liberally to cuts and scrapes.
