Fucking hate the government. in Journal

Yep. You’ve read it and there it is. I can begin to delineate my personal experiences with said entity, but it’s overreach is felt by everyone, no doubt. Even those supposedly beyond it’s control, in remote areas and beyond our borders; they are still not immune to the long reach of our woefully bloated and glutinous government.
Since my adult life began (and before I’m sure, I was simply unaware) I am assailed at every turn in my life by this monolithic wall of invisible but impermeable power. Blithely it dolls out punishment to many, and rewards the few who are so inclined to pay in excess for that special treatment. But, not blindly. For those who think the government is like a blind fool blundering about, wreaking havoc, they are deceived. No, the government is under a regulated control, and its masters know exactly how to orchestrate mass death on scales that boggle the mind, but never result in so much as a sniff of outrage. They are word smiths and culture benders- creating new ways for their poor governed peoples to serve and obey, while destroying every chance and crack of escape. It’s come so far in such a short amount of time. People sometimes notice. Sometimes they even do something about it. But it always ends in a predictable way. There is never any true recourse. There is never anything done to injure or reduce the beast.
