Seeing over the fence …. in The odd entries from life …….

Another pleasant morning here in the valley, and a second workman to look at the wind battled fence, the third is due at teatime; it’s not raining now but it is pouring working men!

After near thirty years in a large city we can see how things work in a closer community, we contacted the agent about the fence, the owner of the adjacent land knows the owner of our rented bungalow, and he as e-mailed the owner hence visits of working men two and three, being in the middle I wonder if it’s only me who can the larger picture!

Considering the extreme weather of winter, and some see this weather becoming the normal, should I sit back and let things continue to there natural conclusion; with winter’s could be stormy from now two fences could be a bonus …!

Today’s working men are friends of our owner, as is the adjacent land owner, I don’t recall such connections been so close in Stockport; or in the wider city of Manchester! I have told our first visitor of today that I have reported the damaged fence to the agent, who sent Saturdays working man; humour and real live are better kept apart …
