Officially Quitting in Journal

After writing that entry about trying to quit coffee, I became curious about how bad it really might be and… decided to quit for good.
All in all… it’s not that bad. On average the body can easily handle 2 cups of regular caffeinated brew per day. Which is the most I would ever drink. But, that is an average, which means there are people below and above that level. I believe that I may be below that level. Also, there is such a thing as what the body can do to survive and… well, optimal functioning.
Tons of northern European, Scandanavian and Slavic in my ancestry. So you might imagine not too much in the way of genetic resistance to phytochemicals. It’d be better if I were of Spanish or Indian descent. Not so, I’m afraid. And I’ve begun to think that maybe some of the signs I’ve noticed recently is due to my apparently toxic affair with coffee. We will see!
So far feeling great! Got up early and took a nap already. But got a lot done.
