Massive Survey for Prosebox (Part One) in Surveys!

This is the first time I'm posting a survey exclusively for Prosebox. I grabbed this one from Tumblr and thought I'd answer it here cause I'm struggling a bit with the writing. So here goes, hope you enjoy!

1. Who was the last person you held hands with?

That would be my son Jonathan, when I walked him home yesterday.

2. Are you outgoing or shy?

Depends on the situation. Sometimes I can be shy but there are times when I can be completely outgoing...

3. Who are you looking forward to seeing?

I'm looking forward to seeing my boys again this weekend.

4. Are you easy to get along with?

Sometimes, depending on the situation.

5. If you were drunk would the person you like take care of you?

People who do like me would, but I rarely get in that position.

6. What kind of people are you attracted to?

I'm attracted to people who are smart, witty and love to debate everything. I also have a thing for redheads, aka gingers.

7. Do you think you’ll be in a relationship two months from now?

Probably not, but you never know.

8. Who from the opposite gender is on your mind?

There are a few people from the opposite gender that are on my mind. Not gonna name names here people, just not polite.

9. Does talking about sex make you uncomfortable?

Not really, nope.

10. Who was the last person you had a deep conversation with?

I had a very stirring debate with a friend of mine who happens to be a Muslim. We are on opposite ends concerning the whole Quebec Charter thingie and when we talk about that the conversation is very deep and intense.

11. What does the most recent text that you sent say?

My last text: Interesting.

I wish it was more deep, but that is someting I saw often in text.

12. What are your 5 favorite songs right now?

Good question and here they are in no particular order:

13. Do you like it when people play with your hair?

Depends on who it is really. When my hair was really, really long... Jonathan liked to play with it whenever we were riding on the bus. I let him because at least he was quiet and distracted. During that time he was the only one allowed to touch my hair.

14. Do you believe in luck and miracles?

Not really, no.

15. What good thing happened this summer?

I got to spend a lot of time with my boys and I became a Ghost Writer.

16. Would you kiss the last person you kissed again?

Yeah, sure. Last person to kiss me was my son when I said goodbye. I love my little buggers and I sneak in as many kisses I can before they become to cool to kiss their parents. When I realized how much I would miss their kisses when they grow up, I understood how much my parents must miss mine. I surprised them both with a kiss the last time they visited. Things I understand more since I became a Dad.

17. Do you think there is life on other planets?

When we look up at the stars at night, there are billions out there. As the late (and very great) Carl Sagan once wrote; if it is just us... seems like an awful waste of space.

18. Do you still talk to your first crush?

My first crush was a girl named Shelley Spencer. We had a connection in grade 4 but I moved away half a year after we met. Would be cool to see her again but I don't think I ever will.

19. Do you like bubble baths?

I don't have a bath tub, but if I ever bumped into one that I can fit into... sure, I'd toss in some bubbles.

20. Do you like your neighbors?

I do... very much.

21. What are your bad habits?

I used to play too many video games. I don't do that nearly as much as I used to.... now I gotta work on my temper and waist line.

22. Where would you like to travel?

I haven't been to Europe yet, would be nice to go there and backpack through a few countries. As a writer, I would love to do Paris... but I'm afraid I'll never want to leave.

23. Do you have trust issues?

After my first divorce, I do. It's something I'm working on via group therapy for people who are coping with separation and divorce. It's helping...

24. Favorite part of your daily routine?

Waking up... with my current health issues, I don't take that for granted.

25. What part of your body are you most uncomfortable with?

My waist line. I need to drop this spare tire...

26. What do you do when you wake up?

Usually pee, put on the kettle to make a cup of tea and then hit the next and check my email, my blogs and my ongoing chess matches. I'm on Chess Maniacs if any of you want to get your asses handed to ya.

27. Do you wish your skin was lighter or darker?

I learned a long time what a fallacy that is. Here in North America, everyone wanted to get tanned... in other words make their skin darker. When I traveled and lived in Asia for a year I saw everyone there wanting to be lighter. So it's people who want to change themselves no matter what shade they are. I'm okay with who I am and I try not to be vain about it.

28. Who are you most comfortable around?

My kids. They are like my clones and they are the only people who I love more than I love myself... and that's a lot!

29. Have any of your ex’s told you they regret breaking up?

Nope, not yet. I admit to not being the easiest person to live with but if people have regrets... they're keeping it to themselves.

30. Do you ever want to get married?

I was married for 11 years before I ended things. While it was a bad break, I'd like to think I'd give it another go if I found the right person.

31. If your hair long enough for a pony tail?

If I had written this entry two months ago, I would have said yes. I cut it on Christmas Eve because I was invited to a formal dinner and my gift to the host who is a very old friend of the family was to chop the mop and look respectable. It was very, very long so when I showed up with a short cut, everyone was stunned because I didn't tell anyone I was going to do it. That was fun to observe.

32. Which celebrities would you have a threesome with?

Olivia Wilde and Ana Kasparian.

33. Spell your name with your chin.

I'd rather not... Jon's already wrecked a keyboard and this is the backup.

34. Do you play sports? What sports?

I used to play sports but I do it anymore. Used to be a Catcher in baseball and even did wrestling in high school and university. That was a while back.

35. Would you rather live without TV or music?

Tough choice. I mean I guess I'd take television cause they have music channels!

36. Have you ever liked someone and never told them?

Yes, I have. Sometimes I've kept my thoughts to myself because that friendship was too great to risk ruining over silly feelings. The other time is because that person I like is happily married and I would never be that guy.

37. What do you say during awkward silences?

Nothing, you don't talk during awkward silences! Duh!

38. Describe your dream girl/guy?

Someone who is smart, funny and is an atheist.

39. What are your favorite stores to shop in?

I like hitting EB Games, HMV, Toys R' Us, Costco and Dollarama!

40. What do you want to do after high school?

Believe it or not, when I was leaving high school many moons ago... I wanted to be a writer. While I'm not making Dan Brown money, I am a writer. I've posted five books and two works of poetry in the last three years.

41. Do you believe everyone deserves a second chance?

It depends on what they did the first time and if they are sincerely sorry about it.

42. If your being extremely quiet what does it mean?

It means I'm upset. I'm very talkative so when I shut the hell up, I'm pissed.

43. Do you smile at strangers?

Sure, why not? I even say hello or good morning/afternoon too.

44. Trip to outer space or bottom of the ocean?

Neither, I'm good right here.

45. What makes you get out of bed in the morning?

Usually the urge to take a big piss... but after that I want to write and keep kicking at the literary darkness until it bleeds daylight.

46. What are you paranoid about?

I'd answer that but I don't want them to know what I suspect...

47. Have you ever been high?

A few times, but not from the usual methods. A short while back, I tried the Double Down from KFC, and that thing is a sodium bomb. I literally got high from eating that thing. I could barely walk...

48. Have you ever been drunk?

A few times... I'm an expensive drunk so most of the time I can't afford to get drunk. So usually when there was a large liquor cabinet to raid or a free bar at a wedding or someone else was buying, that's when I got seriously smashed!

49. Have you done anything recently that you hope nobody finds out about?

A few things but I'm not saying... cause they people will find out. Duh!

50. What was the colour of the last hoodie you wore?

Burgundy. It's a nice hoodie. I like wearing it.
