On Saturday night I went out with my workmate Taryn. I haven’t seen her since Christmas. It was great to have a catch up and lovely to do something on my own and talk about things other than babies! We went to a few different pubs, had some drinks, a bit of a dance and a good old chat about everything. Harrison stayed at home with Dave :-)

I got in about 1am but didn’t get to sleep until 3:30am as I kept expecting Harrison to wake up, but he slept from 9pm to 3:30am, which is very unlike him! He also woke up at 5am and 7:15am, then I had to be up at 8:30am so I was a bit tired on Sunday, but it was worth it.

On Sunday we went to a national trust house called Baddesley Clinton. We couldn’t take the pram in as it had narrow corridors and stairs, but they loaned us a hip seat to help us carry Harrison and it was amazing! Takes so much pressure off my arms, so I’ve ordered one online, which has a back support for Harrison as well so I should be able to use it hands free. It will make it so much easier doing things around the house while carrying him.
