Pooped in Hello Mrs.!

So I woke up at 5am yesterday mainly because I wake up at 5 normally during the week if I don't have an early meeting. Like I mentioned in my last entry I didn't do much until it was time for me to go. I went and picked up Mairaki in her new apt. in Chelsea. It took forever and I don't really know why. There was a bit of traffic on the pike and since I don't have an EZpass it added a little bit to my commute. Once I got her I brought her back to here and took her to the West House of Pizza. We ate and talked for a couple hours. She seems really nice and is adjusting to Mass well. She likes it much better than Michigan. From there I brought her to my mom's house and Matoula, Fotini and Thitsa Olga were. Five Greek ladies in one house = loud. It was fun...we talked and joked... Sy came when it was time to go so he could accompany me for the trek back into Boston. We first dropped of Fotini and Thitsa Olga and then Maraiki. We made it home by 10ish and ordered take out from the 99.

I didn't wake up at 5 today...more like 7 to Ellianna purring in my face. It's been a relaxing morning so far. I'm about to make some coffee and wake up Sy. We're going to go to church and then the Valentine's Day luncheon that was postponed from last week due to the weather. First I would like to have this place picked up a bit. I'm assuming that we'll get home from the luncheon around 1-1:30 so half of my Sunday will be gone already. I.Must.Do.Work... I hate working on the weekends, but it's something that has to be done. I'll give myself a 2 hour max. After that, I hope to cook some for the week. I already have everything cut up for ratatouille (spelling?) We call this dish tourlou (again with the spelling).

Since a year before we got married I wanted to lose weight so I've cooking my meals for the entire week over the weekend. It worked out well...just with the food alone I lost 20 lbs and then with exercise it helped break that plateau. After the wedding I took a little break but for the past 2 months I've started doing it again. I like to use recipes from Weight Watcher, runsforcookies website, Skinny Girl and Cook Your Self Thin books. I'm interested in purchasing the Dean brothers cookbooks as well after I saw a segment on them.

Ok, plan has just changed. My cat just threw up all over the living room and kitchen... Uh, so instead I'll be cleaning and disinfecting...right meow vs. more relaxing.
