Plot Twist in Current Events

My plan on Friday for the wedding social was to hit up the boys and pregame at theirs. Then arrive at the social fashionably late and party hard. Party so hard that I booked Saturday off of work so that I can recover. I was aiming to crash at their place so that I don’t have to worry about my car.
Plot twist! My car is acting up and causing me stress.
Plot twist! Toni bought my ticket so now I have to bring her with me! Not a problem but I’ll send her home in a cab so I don’t have to ask the boys to let me have a sleepover with a stranger.
Plot twist! My sister is getting induced tomorrow and they will not be home for the next couple of days. So that means that I have to balance childcare, daycare, work and a social life! I have a sitter for Friday because I am dead set on letting loose! All of my friends are going to be there, seriously! All of them.
Plot twist! I got volunteered to work a shift at the social! The bridal parties are not pulling their weight and I was asked to be a friend and help them out… frig I literally just called them personally for not including me in this wedding party. I’m tired of being the bridesmaid and never the bride lol. That backfired.
So now I’m spread as thin as I look and I don’t think that I can do it all. On one hand, I can explain to Ashley, the bride, that I can’t volunteer to help. She would be understanding until the social is over and then she would start drama with me for being selfish during her time of need and that grudge would last me a lifetime. Then, on the other hand, I could cancel the pregame and the after-party with the boys and work the door at the social for an hour or two and stay sober enough so that I could drive myself home when it is all done. I was also asked to help clean up when the party is done so… yeah.
Plot twist! The sitter cancelled and I am stuck at home… jk!
