Hit the ground running in Second 1st

Didn’t really sleep well last night. Rocky felt the need to be all over me so I was constantly having to wake up and adjust. He slept at such an odd angle last night. shrugs it’s all good I guess. I woke once thinking it was already 6:50 and I need to be in Nashville at 7:40.... we are leaving early to get breakfast and to avoid inbound traffic which should be horrible on a weekday.

We are going to grab McDonald’s like on purpose. Rocky has discovered McGriddles and apparently really likes them in spite of not being a breakfast foods fan. I’m not complaining but I will question things from now on. He’s always not liked McDonald’s particularly for some reason. Anytime we’ve been up to actually eat breakfast and be on the run so that he actually thinks food at an early hour is a good idea we get Hardee’s because that’s what he wants. So it’s kind of a shock to me that he’s aiming for it this morning.

He’s planning that we leave the house at 5:40. So I got up 4 and turned off the fan, turned on my side light. Laid there about 15 mins checking on the apps and answering “Yes, it’s still available!” Got dressed and sat in the bed putting on my shoes and playing games on my phone. 4:35 I got up and started a load of laundry, started a load of dishes, put some Teriyaki chicken in the crock pot for everyone tonight so we don’t have to worry about that today, took out the trash and replaced the bag. WHEW. Then I was a bit dizzy, yes I pushed through all of that I had started getting dizzy while unloading the dishwasher so I was pretty messed up when I was on my way back to the bedroom to wake Rocky. Thank God he just got up and was headed into the bathroom when I turned the corner to go down the hall. I would have been ready to ream him if I’d made it to the bedroom.

He seriously thinks it takes him 30 mins to get ready and go. It probably does when he has a designated time to be at work and a working knowledge of how long it takes to get there and with no other factors to his morning. Whenever we have somewhere to be on one of his days off it takes at least 45. I point it out each time. Trying to get it through. Seems like he may be listening this morning because he’s up and moving. He’s taking his 1/2 hour discharge now lol, I don’t know that it takes him 1/2 but he’s in there at least that long.

I’ve already got a couple people that would like to meet up for small things this afternoon but I don’t want to set up times till I get back, Nashville can be crazy and if I’m feeling okay after the visits maybe we will go to McKays or something. Who knows just don’t want to say I’ll be back before I’ll be back. then have to rush for no reason.
