Swiped 50Q Survey in Random Public Stuffs

I had some time to kill before resuming my role as the Domestic Goddess today. My Mama is on the relaxing side, so I figure I’ll take it easy as well. I’m just happy that I don’t have to shovel the driveway again. LOL Oh well. Midwest life.

But, on to the survey.

1. How many pets do you own?
None. I like my freedom to come and go as I please. I also don’t have the budget for a pet, so…no thanks.

2. What’s your least favorite season?
Midwest winters. They’re the 2nd harshest winters in the world, it feels like. Outside of the north and south poles. LOL

3. Do you prefer to text or call?
I prefer calling like an adult but…you know…the “anxiety fad”. {Rolls eyes down the frozen highway.}

4. Morning or night?
“I come alive in the night time…”

5. Do you like tacos?
Only from a certain restaurant here. I’m not one for bastardized American tacos like Taco Bell or Taco John’s.

6. Are you an introvert or an extrovert?
Extrovert. All day. For the most part, I enjoy people. I enjoy new experiences they can bring. Granted, there are some people that just need to be punched in the throat but…as long as they stay in their lane, it’s all good. Being an extrovert has always come in handy when things need to get done. I’m happy to help my community charities set up events because I have no fear of talking to people and approaching new businesses and such. So, I rock.

7. What’s your favorite dessert?
It all depends. Sometimes, I prefer something chocolate. Other times, I like fruit. I’m not a limited person.

8. Do you enjoy walks?
Very much so. I grew up hiking with my family. It’s an awesome way to exercise and get away.

9. Are you a frequent user of Facebook?
I used to be. But, I got tired of people and their politics. Live and let live, yo. As long as what you do doesn’t negatively affect me, I’m good.

10. Do you watch animated shows still?
Not regularly. Sometimes my kids want me to check out some, but I lose interest.

11. Can you roll your tongue?
Of course. It helps with learning different languages.

12. What’s your “lucky” number?
4. It’s repeated in nature, and of course, it’s my birthday. :D

13. Are you scared of anything?
Thing, no. Ideas, maybe? Like, I’m scared that I’ll end up not completing my bucket list, and I’m afraid that I’ll end up a prisoner in my body and my mind will still be sharp.

14. Big mac or big whopper?
I prefer a Whopper when I have a cheat day, but that’s very seldom. Big Mac’s aren’t the greatest, but after a hockey game and a couple of beers, it’s not too bad.

15. Do you like to play board games?
I stopped at Monopoly. I don’t have to patience to sit for hours and hours on end. It’s not for me.

16. Are you fond of romantic novels?
Not really. They’re pretty much the same, from what I read at the insistence of my cousin. I honestly think they’re a way for women to fantasize about something they are lacking in their every day lives, along with wanting to be relieved of real life duties. Who can honestly say they’d still work if they “married a billionaire”?

17. Fruit Loops or Cocopops?
No idea what “Cocopops” are. But, Cinnamon Life all the way.

18. Would you eat a live spider for one million dollars?
Yuck. No.

19. Are you a heavy drinker?
I used to be. Former party girl. No shame. Then, I went so many years without being diagnosed after a car accident. “Trauma-induced Bipolar I”. Took about five years for me to get properly medicated, therapy, getting my shit together, etc. Now? A couple beers once a week during dart league.

20. Would you forgive someone for cheating?
Nope. Never. It’s lying. I forgive people for being worthless pieces of shit, because they’re not in my life anymore, but the act of cheating? Never. Those people can swallow a grenade. When I say this, I mean in reference to cheating on ME. I know other people who cheat on their partners, but that’s them. It’s their life, they have their reasons. It doesn’t affect me. But those who’ve cheated on ME? Nope. I hope they live in a hell of their own worst fears, no matter what it is.

21. Are you superstitious?
Yes and no. It doesn’t RULE my life, but it’s something that’s been instilled in me. Some of them are cultural teachings, but some are also learned over time, but I don’t really consider them “superstitions”. Like, Mercury Retrograde. LOL

22. Have you seen A Clockwork Orange?
No. I haven’t even read the book. At least not to my recollection.

23. Do you like to read?
I used to be a voracious reader at one point in time. I have books upon books…but, when I left the country for awhile, I ended up donating them or giving them to people who wanted them. Now, I’m rebuilding, but I haven’t actually gotten around to it.

24. Are you easily distressed?
Negative. I’ve held jobs where lives are in my hands, so I can’t lose my shit over anything. I used to be as a kid, though. I had a lot of innocence, so…being bullied, I never understood why people were so mean to me and I would cry daily. But, of course, I shut that shit down.

25. Do you believe in aliens?
Of course. Only stupid people believe that we’re the only “intelligent” life-form in the Universe. Pfft. Seriously?

26. If you were the last person alive besides one other person you get to choose, who would it be?
No one. I wouldn’t want to choose, and I would hope that everyone I loved is at peace finally. It would be my luck that I would be left alive to see the worst.

27. Dogs or cats?
Dogs. Absolutely no contest. They’re helpful, they are amazing in life-or-death situations. I’ve told my roommates, who have cats, that if there was ever a fire or tornado, I was getting the kids out, and if there was a cat along the way, sure I’d grab it, but I wasn’t going to stop and look. Dogs, they’ll alert, they’ll help find people, and most times, they get the fuck out.

28. Are you a grumpy person?
No. I’m a fucking ray of sunshine. LOL I annoy people with how happy I am, apparently. But, I know there is a list of ways I annoy people. The top of the list IS how happy, vibrant, and outgoing I am. Then, it’s because I have no tact and am brutally honest. {Shrugs.}

29. What’s something you hate?
Hate is a strong word that implies loss of control. I don’t like that. Been there, done that. Never again. I extremely dislike people who are willingly helpless, are willfully malicious, or just plain stupid. I just have no patience for that crap.

30. Are you a worry wart?
Negative. No point in worrying about something if it’s out of your hands, but you make damn sure you exhaust all avenues that you ARE capable of going down.

31. Do you like having your picture taken?
I don’t mind it. I don’t seek it out, though. I only do when I’m with my kids or when I’m with my best friends.

32. Do you like cotton candy?
YES!! Love, love, LOVE it. I try to get some when I go to the hockey games!!

33. Would you ever use a dating site?
I have tried, but it seemed more like a hook-up thing. I got all kinds of weird guys asking me for my cell and for pix. Yeah, NO. LOL

34. Do you believe in ghosts?
Of course. We’re all made of energy and that energy changes throughout time. There are multiple realities, timelines…so, yeah.

35. Rap or pop?
My interest in rap ended with Ludacris, I believe. I liked Tupac, Biggie…THOSE were rappers. This crap nowadays? Bleh. Pop? It depends. There are some peeps that I’m like, WTF? But, that’s just me.

36. What’s the weirdest flavor of ice cream you’ve tried?
Nothing crazy. We have the Wells Blue Bunny headquarters and factory up the road from me, so…it’s all fun for me.

37. Do you like math?
Only the basics. I’m not really into it as a hobby.

38. Are you the type of person to laugh at others misfortune?
Only on a trivial level. When one of my friends falls into a snow bank, of course I laugh. Hell, I laugh when I fall. But on a massive scale? No.

39. Love or lust?
Lust usually. It’s less drama. And I can move on. Unless they get stalker-y. THAT is no fun. Love. That is meant for those who have proven themselves, but of course, I make mistakes at times.

40. Do you remember lyrics easily?
Yep. I’m one of those people that usually listens to songs on repeat sometimes TO learn the lyrics. I also used to karaoke quite a bit, so…when you hear the same songs over and over.

41. What was/is your favorite school subject?
I loved History on the academic side. The extracurricular I loved was music. I was in Choir and Band, among other activities, but those were my favorites.

42. Do you like tattoos?
Sure. Just don’t let me see them if you’re going to take blood from me or there is the possibility of any sort of exposure to my bodily fluids. Outside of that? It’s all good. Enjoy your body art.

43. Are you the type of person to lie?
No. It’s dumb. It’s weak. It’s cowardly. There’s no damn point in it.

44. Do you eat porridge for breakfast?
I occasionally do. It’s delicious. Also recommended on MFP, so…there’s that.

Shellfish. Eggs.

47. Do you like Lady Gaga?
Yes. I love how she’s both an artist and a performer. Many people are JUST performers, and that’s fine. But, I prefer artistry over performance.

48. What about Nick Minaj?
Not really.

49. Do you like rainy days?
I love them. No matter the season.

50. Last question, do you like pie?
I have to be in the mood for it. Along with prepared to suffer for it. I haven’t found a good crust without eggs. Even then, I’m boring. I prefer peach pie overall. Blueberry. Apple. Cherry. That’s it.
