The Price in Poetry

Death is alive
Active and set free
To devour
In a feeding frenzy
The change is here
For everyone who has ears
The deaf will fall
To those that stand tall

The demons of the night
Are ready for a final strike
They bless their blood
Pretending they’re leeches
To what they devour
As they sour
In a vampiric hour

HATE will rise
You’ll know
When the stars fall
From the skies
Bringing about
A midnight sun
That unleashes
The hidden secrets
Frozen in time
All will come alive

Silent eyes divide
Consuming dreams
As no one sleeps
Near the ice
And as it melts
There will be a price
