Hmm in New Beginnings.....

So My kid seems fine now? Maybe it is allergies. I still plan on bringing her to the doctor, but going to shoot for a Saturday apt since I can’t really afford a day off. But I am glad she’s feeling better it was freaking me out a bit! So this entry was going to go in an entirely different direction, but from the moment I typed so, until now things have changed and possibly in a great way….

Got a text from my bestie, she’s consulting for a restaurant and they are looking for a manager and she asked if I’d be interested. The pay would be better, closer to what I was making in AK. The driving distance is about 1.6 miles further than I drive now but in the other direction which is technically against traffic. She knows my current situation and generally this type of job would require nights and weekends but she said she already explained to them I could only do m-f days. I asked about benefits which she needs to look into. The only down side I see right now, is they are struggling a bit, hence the consulting gig. She did mention there’s a lot of work to be done, but they leave state for about 6 months a year and want someone they can trust. She was saying it would make her job so much easier if she could hire me, since she knows I have the skills as we’ve worked together before. AHHH I don’t know, something to think about. I loved managing (at my old job) and being able keep my schedule and do it would be great, not to mention making more. .. but I’m no fool there’d be more responsibility, I’m sure when they are gone it’d be my phone ringing. Plus they are struggling so it’s not too stable at the moment. Frankly my current job isn’t so stable either so? AHAHA I gotta go call her…. Stay tuned.
