headed out for the day in Second 1st

Sold a few items, we still have not broken even and I knew we wouldn’t when most things are missing parts or are broken. That guy really shot himself in the foot though because he’s not the only source in the world I can get stuff elsewhere. I only have 4 more items to even look at but not today.

Today is the truck drop day for the 2 places in Columbia. Rocky got Eddie all excited after they went to get a pallet. We went yesterday to register the van (in Rocky’s name) so we wouldn’t be driving around with tags off the car. We have to get insurance on it still. Plan is to take the truck off. Sell the truck and SUV and buy Eddie out of the van. In that order. Keep telling Rocky it’s not his van until he gets the other vehicles sold.

So because Eddie is all excited and Rocky is on vacation and I’m still on Short Term Disability We are all getting in the van and going to Columbia to dig through stuff today. We are hopeful. We are going to run through a drive through and get something to eat .... it’s 6:20 and I just woke Rocky but planned leave time is 7am. The store opens at 9 and we were advised to get there an hour early. I’ve got anti-bac ready to go and I’m as awake as I”m going to be I think. I would really like to risk a hot coffee this morning but I don’t want to have to stop too many times. It’s just that it’s been so cold and rainy. What 4 days now....5?.... I’m not dead but I wish it was done. I can feel it in my head....

The popping of my ear that the doctor had suggested hasn’t seemed to help. I really can’t wait to see my regular ENT. Ask her a few question, complain about the other doctor a little bit. Update her on how I’m feeling. Hopefully make an appointment to get my hearing aid adjusted too. Right now it’s not doing any good at all.

I’m not looking forward to getting in and out of the van today. Did it yesterday and it’s the biggest vehicle I’ve ever ridden in. I’m going to get a side step for it for sure.... as soon as we buy Eddie out.

I offered Eddie a days hard labor for the gun safe he wants. He doesn’t want to pay $50 when the dang thing sells 139 retail. It does have a minor cosmetic thing..... but that guy offering labor for the speaker got me thinking. Neither Rocky nor I would feel all that comfortable with a stranger in the house but I could for sure pay Eddie the safe. So sometime this week We will take the van and get like 8-10 pieces of plywood and they can start working on that. Then we can get the stuff in the back room that should be in the attic.... up there. Then make some shelves for the back room and start storing this stuff to sell back there. I mean it is getting stored back there now.... after I log it but it’s just a pile in a bigger pile… not cool.

Welp, better get myself moving. I mean I’ve only got 25 mins to put on my socks and shoes......
