in real life you would find yourself
rooting for the fighter to stay down
instead of get up because in real life
when you’re beaten that badly and you
gets up too soon it doesn’t mean you
are gonna win it means you’re gonna die
sometimes you need to know when to
just stay alive by staying down

trying to “defeat” your darkness
will only give it a bigger home
inside your head and trying to
ignore it with only make you
dwell upon it more just like
trying to not think “elephant”
will make you think “elephant”
note it but let it flow away
as if it were a passing cloud
sometimes you gotta know when
to let it go and just stay down
