I am pretty cautious when it comes to bad weather, so I've been staying home a LOT. I am so glad I had stocked my pantry in the fall and early winter, so I have had enough food. (Though this week, I am due for a MAJOR food shopping.... or two.)

I've done a LOT of reading, computer game playing...and television watching...

Now... what's left. Oh, the apartment... HA! The LOWEST on my list of things to do ... cleaning, clearing, throwing out. I am great at bundling items up to donate to the thrift shop... actually have a huge bag waiting to go downtown TODAY.

But cleaning... not really. Throwing out? not at all. Yet, this week, I picked up and threw out a few items that were beyond donation. I still have more to go, but it's a start.

I did two machines worth of bedding - blankets and such. While going up and down with the laundry, I was able to discard quite a few bags of trash and garbage (and kitty litter).

So I guess this rough winter has been a good thing for me... so far.

weeding out things is not something I am good at either. My rule of thumb is that if I hadn't worn it for 10 years throw it out because it won't fit.

I've heard it said that if you haven't used something for three years, clearly you don't need it. I disagree - for me, it's, "oooo, something NEW!". My weight fluctuates; it's more like something 10 years old is just out of STYLE!

yeah, you've got the jump on Spring cleaning. awesome :)

Yeah, right. I don't think I've done Spring cleaning... EVER. A little here and there when there was someone else living with me. That's way too much for me to even contemplate. I brought down a large shopping bag to the thrift shop today. That's IT for a while... LOL

HI RYNB I really enjoyed Lost Symbol I thought it was the best Dan Brown novel I read. I don't have a car so take the bus or cab I like riding the bus and it is a good place for people watching.

I am glad you liked the book. I like other books of his better. I also love "people watching".
