Rocky got up about 9.... more 9:30ish but we managed to get out before too long. We kinda lingered everywhere because taxes was the only real plan today. So we stopped for drinks at a gas station on the way out and decided to eat breakfast/lunch at a small dinner in Chapel Hill. They were super busy but the team really pulls together and service was exceptional for how busy they were.

We stopped by a pack and ship place we had gone to for all our faxing things when we bought this house. The girl who was just a clerk before now owns the store and her mom works it with her. She was on the phone with a lady who had been calling all morning harassing the mother. I think chicks name is Candle, over the last year she had bought the store and adopted a baby. The new baby has 2 lazy eyes and is going in for corrective surgery tomorrow. I wish them the best.

Went and got the taxes filed. 3496.00:) so there is that. I asked Rocky where he would like to go for vacation and he said he thinks he would like to try to ski. .... in July.... so I’ll have to do some research on where we will be able to go. .... I told him I’m not for sure though. If he wants to ski I’ll spend my time with a book in whatever room we rent. He laughed about it a bit and said but you’d be perfectly happy with that. “Yup, so I’ll look into what you want later”.
I’ll send Jerry a text about getting this years vacation schedule on Friday.

We went to Give me a 5 in Columbia to have a look. Rocky, just like the first time we went, was way quicker to dismiss or gather things he thought would be good. It’s $2 day at that particular location so we got a few things. I was much slower and before we could make it through all the bins they had to go through I was overwhelmed with the .... the room being not right… causing the nausea .... so we called it good.... he paid and I went out to the car to have a seat.

Felt much better after only a few moments, I’m 100% positive it was all the looking down. I google searched anything else in the area that might be worth taking a look at and we ended up at a place called Big Box Liquidations. His bins were much more shallow and so were much easier to look through. We bought a few things there, a couple I’ll list and a few I want badly to keep. (Fantasia on DVD $4)

Rocky asked the guy on our way out if he also sold pallets of stuff. He did in fact but he doesn’t sell them to the general public unless someone asks about them. Guy goes by Vegas.... Vegas lead us across town to where he has his trucks unloaded and things lined up to put in the store. Basically, the guy goes through them in degrees and the end result is what goes in the bins at his store. He had 10 or so marked at $250 that would go to the store on Friday. He asked how much we had to spend he would put us a pallet together for that much at .25 on the dollar retail. Rocky and I had a quick conversation on the way over about how much we would sink in right now. Knowing what we have, we decided $500 (the left over of his taxes). When he asked us Rocky came right out with it and said he was in the process of manifesting a few pallets and could put one together for us to look at in the morning.

Rocky had gone to Eddie’s and had been gone about 45 mins when I wrote the above. .... then we ran to Wal-mart to get the remainder of dinner and an new battery for the van they got. Dinner is Chow Mien instead. Should be fine. Heat on a stove, make rice, all is well.

Eddie said he’d be glad to go with him after he gets off work. So when we get back from my follow up appointment they will go. Eddie said he’d like to have a look too. He’s looking to offset the income lost. He figures he’s going to need to make up 7,000. I’m honestly figuring he’s going to realize real fast home much more money he has than he thinks he does and he will be fine but in the mean time he’s also thinking of working resale. Rocky says we should let him list all the things for a cut..... I’d like to do it myself thank you very much snob face lol

Either way that will get me out of the drive to and from Columbia after going to and from doc .... sucks for Rocky’s back though :(. I’m hopeful they get something. We had a few finds today but the weekly company is over now. I’ll do my best to start posting in the morning. Rocky said not to post them all at once though so i can “stay relative”...... but if they end up buying a pallet I won’t have to worry about it.
