trash and taxes in Second 1st

Some time over the last few days Rocky entered an agreement with the neighbor about buying a van. The neighbor had promised the seller that he would not sell in within a year.... don’t know why the guy would care if he’s selling it but whatever. Eddie and Rocky decided Rocky would be the “buyer” as to not fall under this promise. It’s super shifty and I don’t like it. It’s a rather large van, runs fine. The guy was having issues with the battery going dead. Rocky noticed some corrosion on the posts and they think they can fix that right up with some Coke.

Rocky got his tax money. With our current situation as far as me not working I kinda wanted to hang onto that till we have a better idea of how long I’ll be out of work. The Short term Disability is coming through and it’s working out fine but I’d rather be working.... in anyway. I certainly can’t even drive yet so working’s not happening yet.

Rocky has other plans I guess and when he gets off of work today he wants to get 1,000 of his 1500 to go in on the van with Eddie. The titled being in Rocky’s name they plan on turning it around asap and Rocky would get his 1,000 and 50% of the profits.... or.... the van sits in Eddie’s yard forever and Rocky wasted $1,000..... this wasn’t really discussed with me.... which is fine. I’m okay with it. You see I’m going to pull ALL that tax money he got and give it ALL to him today. If he’s going to make choices without me with it than he can manage it ALL. When I get mine I will do the same. I can guarantee that mine will be more and I will spend it more wisely so this doesn’t REALLY bother me. I think it may bother him when I give him HIS money as we have never had this issue before. In the mean time his SUV and the truck that we bought sit in our yard pretty much unused..... so there is that.....

Saturday, Sammy had cleaned his car and put his little grocery bag of junk in the trash bin. (Which I have told him before they won’t take, he has to put that in with the house trash) He came into the house and had told me the trash guys hadn’t picked up. I was confused because I took it out 5:45 ish Friday morning and Friday is pick up. It has happened before where they have been late so I thought If it’s still there in the morning I would call them about it..... I later realized the morning would be Sunday so it would not matter. The trash in the house was full so I got the trash bin from the road this morning and had a look. (that’s how I know he used a grocery bag even though I’ve told him not to) I noticed something and then I texted Sammy about it. You see all the bags were white, the ones I use are black. So I asked Sammy if he had cleaned his car with regular white trash bags. After clearing up a minor miscommunication on my part .... this is what we figured happened.....

Someone has put their trash in my trashcan. After it would have been picked up Friday and before Sammy cleaned his car on Saturday someone put like 4 full kitchen bags in my bin. How wonderful. sigh Why? it’s a $20 a month luxury service. I say luxury because one of this county’s drop off locations is within 10 miles. It is for sure one of the first things I would cut from the budget if we get in a bad spot (especially if I can drive, and we still have a truck!). I’m suddenly thinking we (I) might invest some of our (MY) tax money on a couple outdoor cams for our property. Not that I’m scared someones taking advantage..... but if what’s mine is theirs..... well i like to buy things online and really keep thinking about sourcing online for resale so there is that.

About that..... I hate it. I’m on the fence about everything. I watch a bin and when I think I’m gonna get on and commit, it’s been sold. lol That’s the way it goes I guess. I’m sure I’ll feel better about it when I’m not putting in bill money (which would have been NOW except Rocky seems to think his money is his).

Okay yes I am bothered about the money. It just that this whole time it’s been joint choices. Mostly large things that need to get done. Large bills to pay off, and agreed upon before we even went in to file. This time we agreed and he’s still spending it...... smh
