an old joke.... in General musings

My husband used to "tease" me regarding F...asking me, "do you ever wish F could become human?" and I would answer 'all the time'. While I would love, with all my heart to believe that has happened, I know I can't, because the pain when he "changes" again will be all the more unbearable. No contact in a few days, not surprising considering Valentine's day, he always disappeared around then, and this coming Monday is the "anniversary" of the first time we were together...29 years ago!
