Wow. Time flies before your eyes. As cliche as that sounds, what are you going to do about that, huh? Not much, sadly. You can’t stop time. All you’ve got to do is roll with it. There are plenty you can still do for the last bit of 2018 here.

For starters, your unfinished business. The bad news is, you’ll always have them somehow – whether you like it or not. They could be your unrealised goals or plans this year. They could also be your long-term projects gone overdue.

Then suddenly, you start wondering:

Have you wasted so much time already? Has it ever been enough? Have you bitten more than what you can actually chew? Sometimes, that may be the case. Maybe you still don’t know your limits yet – and when to stop.

As usual, some people are already on their year-end holiday. They’ve made sure that all work has been finished. That way, they don’t have to stress about it during holiday.

Sadly, some others still have to work to make ends meet, no matter how tired and sometimes fed up they are with reality. Right now, they have no choice but to survive. A terrible investment in the past has left them almost stranded and close to penniless. It doesn’t matter that they’ve been fooled and cheated on. There’s not point in getting back at those who have harmed you and got away with it.

The clock is ticking. The world keeps spinning. Life is not waiting on you. Those stupid debts and bills aren’t going to pay themselves too.

It’s a good thing that some of you have already learned your lesson well…even the hard way. The year 2018 has been quite interesting to some of you, I bet.

Let the cheaters, liars, and manipulators stay in the past for good. We don’t need them in 2019. We never have nor even should. Hopefully, they won’t follow us around. They need to stop.

So, what are you going to do for the last bit of 2018? Perhaps some of you have already decided on a short break at home. Well, that’s okay too. Nobody says you have to splurge on every New Year’s eve. Sometimes, taking it easy is the way to be. Staying in instead of hanging out is also cool.

Is the New Year resolution still necessary? Again, it’s up to us. If you still feel the need to come up with any, then go for it. Maybe it’ll help you to figure things out better in the future.

If not, that’s okay too. No judgment here.

Perhaps you’ve already known what to do. So, here’s to the last bit of 2018. May 2019 be better – and that you’ll never ever have to put up with sick narcissists, like ever again.
