A BEAUTIFUL DAY INSIDE AND OUT in Postcards 4

A granddaughter in the Nutcracker many years ago.

The sun is out, beautiful cumulous clouds fly through the sky, and we are recovering from a weekend of being social. We had a great weekend.

I pick through endless Holiday pictures to share something new with you every day. Often I find just pictures of the wreath, the tree, and a grandchild or two. Two years we took cruises down to Mexico, but, though we had fun, the images aren’t very Holidayish. Next Christmas we will go again. If they are shooting at each other, we won’t go ashore.

We discovered we weren’t saving enough money…eating out too often is one of the causes. Except for sharing a Mexican holiday soup with our friends, I’m determined to serve more dinners here. High protein - low cost dinners are oxymoronic, but it’s what I am aiming for.

If you all have any suggestions, I’m all ears..
