loyalty cards in keeping it postive

Many companies have loyalty cards - you get points, or discounts or freebies.
Every so often, I receive a percentage off EVERYTHING I buy at CVS. Even though the discount doesn't count if the item is already on sale, it's ALWAYS time to stock up.
This weekend I received 25% off everything that's not already discounted. I was able to stock up on the basics - and some extras. There's always a surprise there... items at one free when you buy two, etc.
CVS brand "sparkling fruit water" - contains no juice - but is very tasty - and $1 a bottle. I get the cat's food there - he seems to only want to eat Friskies - and there it's 60 cents a can (when you buy 5 or more). In my neighborhood, the same cans are 79 cents each!!
Since I have the loyalty card, the store is constantly sending me coupons for one thing or another. I still have a $5 coupon in my wallet - waiting for the right time to use it - for vitamins.
Added to that is the fact that CVS decided that after October, they won't be selling tobacco products - I want to support THIS store!
