NoJoMo 9 Whoopsie in Book Five: Working Through the Maze 2018

Two Quick Things first:
(1) I have heard dozens of people absolutely roast the IF Hospital. Calling it a Nurse’s Station at best and a Veterinary Washout Program at worst. So… that suggests that you have issues with healthcare. It also suggests that, since our community is small and not wealthy, privatizing health care more and more will only serve to prevent our area from becoming Profit Generating and will mean that we continue to get worse and worse health care offerings around here. SO EXPLAIN TO ME WHY YOU’VE VOTED TO KEEP STEVE KING AND KIM REYNOLDS?! Do these people honestly not understand? “Pro Life, Pro Gun, Anti-Government, Anti-Immigrant… yup, that’s what we want!” But what about quality health care?! What about a robust economy?! What about job re-training that could help you get work?! What about the fact that you are on EBT to get food since you aren’t working?! WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU CONSTANTLY VOTING AGAINST YOUR OWN BEST INTERESTS?!

(2) Meth and Abusive Relationships are fucking awful. I’ve stopped counting the number of women who come in to my office… they look smart, beautiful, they have oodles of potential to take the world by storm. BUT they are getting in to meth and allowing themselves to remain in relationships where they are abused to shit. Even to the point of brain damage!! True story!! And that is what makes things REALLY hard. Meth will absolutely fuck up your thought processes. Getting kicked so hard in the head that you have brain trauma will absolutely fuck up your thought processes. Combine those and you have a Beautiful, Intelligent Woman with a future.... became something far far less. I DON’T LIKE THE RING SIDE SEATS TO THIS CIRCUS! I want it to stop. And I write things like this because… I know it won’t stop. People will stay in abusive relationships. People will continue to intentionally destroy their minds and bodies. People will do great evil to themselves. And all I can do is try to help… try to prevent or postpone… but nobody can STOP it. People, individually, on their own, can make the choice… but it is a hard choice to make. But it sucks, folks. Now onto NoJoMo… apparently, I did the wrong one yesterday, so I am making up for it by doing the one I was SUPPOSED TO DO yesterday today.

NoJoMo 9 Prompt 1: If you could go to any timeline/alternate dimension, where would you be? Write about your life there.

NoJoMo 9 Answer 1: I would like to go to the present timeline in Stein’s Gate, a version of time where CERN/SERN has not perfected Time Travel in such a way as to send the Countries of the world towards chaos so that private companies, like their parent company, can swoop in and take control of the world’s resources and people. I’d just like to live in a world where we’re not arguing over which “video evidence” is real.... the 95 videos by reliable sources or the 1 video that was already proven to be doctored. But we do have to argue that kind of bullshit in the world as the 1 video that was already proven to be doctored is The White House Official Video. Fucking insane world.

NoJoMo 9 Prompt 2: Who made you feel good this week? Bad?

NoJoMo 9 Prompt 2: I felt good this week when I won a case providing security to a woman. I felt bad this week by not getting convictions to protect others. I felt good this week when it was clear that Wife was really happy she was married to me. I felt bad this week when it was clear that Wife wasn’t interested in romantic or amorous marriage.
