Thames-Upon-Staines * in 2014

Floodageddon hits town, and the local curry house is at risk.

Here is a picture of what is happening just down the road, as the Thames attempts to flood Jimmy Spices. The water is perilously close to sloshing into the world food buffet, destroying curry, pizza, noodles and even masala dosai in its wake.

There are lots of flooded houses and no go areas near by and everyone that is unaffected so far is nervously shuffling around the lapping water, wondering if the wide screen telly should go up stairs. The environment agency says that this post code is not affected by floods, but the mini roundabout at the bottom of my road would beg to differ.

Time will tell. Now. Where did i put my wellies?
