NoJoMo 7 -- The Wind In the Willows in NoJoMo 2018

I have a very vivid memory associated with this book. Specifically the chapter titled “Mr. Toad and the Motor Car”. Mom did most of the bedtime story reading, but this time, it was Dad. He didn’t just read it, he acted it.........using different voices, gestures, and lots of dramatic expression. Just thinking about the way he said “poop, poop” (the sound the car made) is enough to make me erupt into giggles, all these decades later.

I liked the whole book, but that single chapter is an indelible memory.
