Think of a person who doesn’t like you. How do you think that person would describe you?
This has been brought to life recently actually. I hadn’t really thought about it before because generally I think if you don’t like me you avoid me. I do it to others. I tend to back out of social gatherings if I know they will be there and if it’s someone I work with generally only talk about work. However, recently it’s been brought to my attention that someone I talk to decently frequently has been talking about me behind my back. Or at least that’s what’s been said. The person who told me has not been there as long. What are they saying? I have a horrible work ethic (I’m lazy) i only got on FMLA to avoid overtime (totally true being as overtime was making my life so much harder than just the actual work however I started the FMLA 3 weeks before the overtime was mandatory) and that I’m faking a disease that I wold wish upon not even her. You can’t see it so how would she know?.... It does and doesn’t bother me. It does because this person has worked with me before all this.... I’m a worker.... even now I feel bad everyday but I go to work 90% of the time I’m required to. Sounds like a bad work ethic huh? I do every part of the job required. I even do the extras I’m asked to but because I don’t asked for the extras or find things to take care of before I’m asked.... now I have a bad work ethic? It bothers me because she knows better..... and it doesn’t....
I knew this would happen .... someone not believing I was sick. The people close to me do and that’s what matters. She is no one to me.
