There was a costume contest in town this past Saturday. I’ve never been to this place (it’s a bar) and I really liked the energy of the place. Reminded me of Witches Brew back in Salem before it got too big for its britches.

Only a few people showed up dressed up, including me and Pam. Pam wore her witch doctor outfit, and I did… this.

First I put on the eye prosthetic. I had to do that first because the “cuts” or whatever you want to call them would go right up and onto the eye piece. Oh, and I had the wig cap on my head.
first

The cuts finished, I put the blood gel on. I think I should have waited to do that part because I kept touching it by accident.
second

My weird ass wig.

The whole shebang. Yep. My arms were really tied up.

So we went to the 1837 (the name of the bar. Might be when the building was built? eh. I don’t know) ordered ourselves a soda. Do you know how fucking hard it is to find a straw with your mouth when you can’t really see it, and can’t use your hands? I must of looked like a moron.

Then they called people up. I won for scariest costume. Gee I don’t know why, seeing that I was the only one dressed up in anything scary. The funniest was a guy dressed as a chick magnet. he was a magnet, with little fake chicks on it. The most authentic was a guy dressed as a WWI soldier. I would say that the suit is seriously authentic, and in impeccable condition.

I should have untied my arms long enough to get pictures of everything, but I didn’t even think of that.

This was the aftermath of me peeling all the makeup off. Yes, it hurts to get that stuff off.
eh

And here is my silly prize. Though I have to admit the buckeyes are freakin’ awesome.
beh

I may write a real entry after work. Or not.

See ya
