halloween stuff. and meetings. in 2018

actually meetings will come in my next. entry.
right so i won’t be writing er blogging the day of, halloween which is wed. cause reasons. [no cause i don’t blog on holidays.].
right so in an entry from the 24th, of oct. [right i guess that’s this month would be] i stated. that on that thurs. the. um whenever it was my sister & i went to the gardens hal. thing halloween. thing. the botanic gardens that is. of denver. this is the 3rd yr. We’ve gone it was nice i had a good time. they didn’t have costume contest this yr. and the pumpkin decorating art. thing was moved inside. we saw. a little girl dressed as a chicken a white, chicken. in a white um leotard w/ ‘feathers’ all over it. that was cool. and an alice in wonderland family. oh and onen lady was dressed as mary poppins she was about my height. one little boy was a dinosaur. i like the variety of costumes.
um. right so like i said we made masks. well. we decorated them mine was a silhouette cat. thing black. and they have these unique black pencils but when people use them to draw the colors are rainbow. so on one side. of the..........face that’s the word i drew. a rainbow. for harvey milk/LGBTQ. and on another i drew a............circus tent part of it. cause. this is me greatest showman. being different. tbi. relating to those who are different. and then. oh i also colored by the um. border of the mask a bit. but after that i was satisfied w/ it. We trick-or-treated there. at the gardens. and i like it cause that way anyone can participate ya know it’s not just. oh the little kids. it’s for anybody. prior to, the mask thing. which was inside the...........candy thing was outside. i love the gardens we only go a couple times a yr. we listened to a lady tell a funny story. for 5 mins. i like stories. and um. we saw this delightful spinning lady. my sister’s mask was a pumpkin.
oh so we carved pumpkins last...........wk. yes last wk. i can’t carve a pumpkin v. well. damnit. it was my first time..........at. carving pumpkins. so turns out the cuts around the stem weren’t v. deep. and so finally i just jabbed the fuker. like alrite pumpkin. well eventually i got it. trust me to pick a tenacious pumpkin. and on it i drew. a triangle which according to joan jett represents the divinity in all of us. when my sister asked ‘what’s that?’ i went ‘it’s a triangle’. no that was it just a triangle. i like my pumpkin. yeah one yr. i did a chicken and another yr. i did a lily. so i like to do different things.
um. so my mom i watched the big bang halloween. thing er ep. i mean love that show. um i watched the first ep. of woman in white. you know cause halloween why not. [also i had been wanting to see that show ever since i found out about it which was like. last wk.]. um yeah i liked the first ep. i’ve been watching fresh prince online [yall remember that show?] and just happened to catch the hal. ep. in s1. so i kindof like. did, all of my halloween stuff already.
oh yes right the delightful spinning lady. so in the gardens there is. a rectangular gray wood tunnel made of wood. love tunnels. and there are LED lights. affice affixed to the. posts. well so in it we saw this lady dressed in a white dress spinning. and she was just delifhg delightful. yeah my um. the last night [well maybe this was 2 yrs. ago actually] i was in london my mo mom i were in this rich russian neighborhood. ans and and in a square there. was this guy dressed as sge sherlock holmes [the brown plaid cape version] and he was. blowing bubbles and that was just delightful
ooh and more stuff. of course. well so on.........fri. fri. night my mom and i went to her choir’s cabaret thing downtown. We had a good time. er the choir’s karaoke thing i mean as the. cabaret thing already happened. erm....... i didn’t sing. a if i had i would’ve been super nervous and 2 it wasn’t really about that. it was about the choir for the choir. but had i gotten up there my list of song choices was this is me, send in the clowns and defying gravity. see my problem is that i want to sing all the songs all the hours. and that wouldn’t’ve been fair or right.
yeah so i met Christine a new choir........lady trans mtf. she’s tall. she’s a warm person. she was a cat. and cheska was there another new lady she was also a cat. no not fran, cesca just cheska. she’s also super nice. Allison was Inspector Gadget. allison is super nice. she’s the director of their small acapella group. she’s small. she usually makes an effort to say hi to me and ya know that’s nice. and oh w/ inspector gadget was Penny who is actually married to the woman dressed as a vampire. and. oh there was lumberjane, and her silver fox [which at first i thought was a generic fox.]. both ladies. there was...........a flamingo gloria. [who apparently i had her name wrong the first time i heard it i thought it was laurie. she’s new.]. a woman partial white rabbit. hottest white rabbit i’ve ever seen, to date. my god.
she and her wife did a duet from ‘wicked’. oh christine’s song was ‘i enjoy being a girl’ and she covered ‘coming to america’ neil diamo diamond w/ 3 other ladies. there was billie jean, julie. she sat at a table w/ fried frida well not the actual one and a woman in a hat who covered cu summertime the old one. oh the first one was thriller a classic. my mom’s friend karen a. was part of that. she was dressed as june cleaver. another woman covered heartbreaker.........oh so many songs. yeah the dj was really good bella. and calm. and nice she was cool. i had a good time emotional.
a new lady cindy dressed as merida from ‘brave’ a few zombies of course. oh Gia she seems cool she covered walkin after midnight love patsy cline. cindy covered...........’let it go’ from frozen that was incredible that was one of the best acts of the night. and i told her it was incredible. and a guy steve dressed as a ninja turtle covered a louis vandross song another, best act of the night. god that guy could sing. yeah my mom’s known karen a. forever. [i say ‘karen a.’ cause there’s another ‘karen’ in the choir. she’s married to nicki this little japanese lady.]. um. oh barb who is now topher she wears. er he i’m sorry. still getting used to that. anyway he, always wears a kilt is also of scottish descent. either way cool nice person. so he, covered the rose by bette middler. but he, signed it. oh it was so intriguing and emotional. he’s able to hear i’m just not sure how much. he, does the ASL translations for each show. not that i’m a judgemental person usually. i just want to use the right pronouns. but yeah like i said. i like. the kilt wearer.
some of the ladies just could not sing. and i mean well. i remember one woman it might’ve been the other allison not sure. oh yes cause she was the one who covered valerie by amy winehouse. anyway so she was able to sing, well she just didn’t have enough confidence. but i’ve been there. but it seemed like good times were had by all. so. there’s that that’s cool. and then there was this other lady who had confidence but couldn’t sing well.
um.
so my mom and i sat by josh and his friend christie who he referred to as his partner. she was a beekeeper busy selling tickets. he josh seems lovely he’s from west virginia and doesn’t like celery. and has glasses. i’ve made the mistake of not, referring to someone’s SO as their friend so. that’s why when i talked to him i’m ‘oh so you’re friends w/ laurie? or christine?’ ‘christie yes she’s my partner’ oh ok. well sometimes people who are dating are friends. well i should hope so. but yes. good times.
oh um..........donnie who i’d heard his name as johnny. when bella talked about him. he covered when you’re good to mama from ‘chicago’ in its orig. original format. he was so. good. omygod.
oh so on. Sat. i went to this fun murder mystery thing that some of the members of my mom’s choir performed. w/ the mile high freedom band they provided the music. yeah the story was like. a theme party set on a train in 1920. and the audience a lot of them got to decide who was........oh it was Clue that’s right. they had mr. periwinkle the obvious gay guy. young too. Counselor Crimson the attorney played by allison. lady chartreuse. and um. donnie played the guy from the bronx italian whose. character’s name i don’t recall. but anyway yes. the audience some of them got to decide who’d murdered. the person uh victim. instead of them telling us. it was so enjoyable well i thought it was. allison the inspector gadget acapella small lady was so good. i’d never seen her in a show before and apparently she’s never taken acting. she covered razzle dazzle donnie covered the show er the song i mean the song he’d covered the night prior but w/ changed lyrics. other songs were crazy train ozzy osbourne. instrumental. and um one night in bangkok sang by the green southern lady. a few from ‘phantom’. the young gay guy covered the judy garland trolley song.
oh so for the second act. after, as my mom calls it, ‘halftime’. um so. well the people in the band entered. the church rm. in costume. so there was a nun percussion section a few dressed as handmaid’s. yes from that show so good. um i think maybe a bunny.
i think that’s about it for halloween stuff. probably. well before-halloween. stuff.
