The spell in Poetry

There’s a silence
Overtaking the wind
A small breeze
Brushes over the skin
Walking deceptions
Provide shadows of another reflection
And somewhere between
A blink of an eye
There’s a thought blooming
Owning the mind
Except it belongs to time

There’s a darkness
Shading the silhouette
Of truth
There’s a light
Becoming an illusion
The hallucination of our sins
That shed our skins
The myth of lies
Belong to an unseen hero
That has no eyes

The corporation of heaven
Our figuration and fascination
The awakening of the unforgiven
Our corruption of hell
The mind-bending spell
Our exit lies somewhere
On the other side
Unable to penetrate
The face of ourselves
Becoming obsolete
And knowing that the beginning
Is our ending
