We got an offer…

However its for the property alone.

130k (which to be fair, is a really good price, this dude said he missed out on 30 acres for the same price). My mom wants 180k. I fear she is not gonna take it. And I think i know why.
She claims to owe me a lot of money (which is true) However I am gonna probably just eradicate the debt (Maybe minus 5k of it I’m not sure yet) just so this headache is over. I will probably just stay here even though I dont want to. And if push comes to shove she is getting social security soon (and this part sounds awful) she can pay me any debt back by just giving me those checks. (To catch some people up we are splitting the house sale proceeds)

If i stay here we will just split bills, ill take cable/garbage and side bills and probably gas, she can take water and insurances and split taxes when it comes out. I emailed the guy running the operation and asked for any more options because this is a final end all to do all.

I’m not looking forward to this. But i’m literally broken in so many ways over this stupid house. I want it to be done. I honestly dont care about any debt she owes me. And also if anything I might just ask her for a few board games and be done.

But i think there is a light. I hope.

Edit: My mom took it surprisingly well. We made a counteroffer a 140 but we dunno yet. But If anything we will probably take 130, but I’m going out there for another showing tommorow and maybe get into a bidding war? I dunno yet. Either way I think there is light at the end of the tunnel. I FORKING HOPE.
