Without social media, how would we know if our old crushes are still attractive?
How would our most favorite celebrities tell us what to be mad about this week?
How would we get a minute-by-minute retelling of the fall of our civilization?
Without social media, how would we know that one angle where we’re least ugly?
How would we know which ideas are worthwhile, measured out in likes and faves?
How would we know that “maybe” on an event means “no” and “yes” means “maybe”?
Without social media, how would we even breathe air, drink water or eat food?
If we can’t show pictures of the air, of the water, of the plate of our food?
Without picture for people to judge, how would we know if it tastes any good?
Without social media, we’d have to decide all our own worths for ourselves?
In the vacuum of a life only self-reflected at best, God, that sounds hard.
They had it so hard before social media, I mean, doesn’t that sound so hard?
