A reading corner by a window.

Dear George was really cranky when I delved into the vastly over-stuffed cubbyhole desk yesterday morning. All those mountains of paid bills, years of paid bills, came out, and it was good to see those pounds of paperwork in a box. Simple. We kept six months of paid bills up here and the rest went down.

We stopped by the store to fix the one broken bookcase, and found she destroyed it…along with one of my lamps. There was a definite lack of communication on both sides. George remarked that. “I wouldn’t’ work for her.” And neither do I now.

George wasn’t at all cranky with me for the rest of the day.

Lunch out, to buy rubber bands, shower, emails to my friends at work, and outta here to a meeting. Sometimes things work out ok.
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

  • Himself: Friday: Movie “House with a clock in the wall.” Cute. He’s been very kind most of the weekend too.

  • Myself: Enjoyed the flic, didn’t enjoy the store. Woke at 4 thinking, and talked with J who also felt awful for months after getting canned.

  • Reading: Still slowing reading V3 or the ER saga. Almost to WWII.

  • Gratitude’s: George, Joan, Jill, and the joy of a new pair of red shoes.
