A soft whisper
Echoes a variety of memories
Separated into infinity
Blinded by ignorant dreams
Tears become the portrait of life
My thoughts surrender
To the one thing that humanity cannot be
As dust and ash
Soak up what’s left
Faded away by fire
Fallen apart
By the only desire
For some reason
Death has not taken
What God has dearly given
Life is still here
To paint the picture clear
As the artist transforms
What has been created
To camouflage the design
Inside the silhouette of my eyes
Reflecting the image of my soul
To magnify the story told
Can anyone listen
To the words on the other side
Or
Are those the screams
Terrorizing my mind
Everyday
The emptiness captures
This soul
Trying to break free
Instead of being corrupted
And inflamed by an agonizing disease
Love
Life depends on you
As this breath
Is holding on
To the quality you lend
To the heart
Tasting the sweet dream
Then it disappears
Into the darkness
That I’m a prisoner too
TO THIS LIFE
A BIRTH BETWEEN
DARKNESS AND DECAY
LOVE AND LIGHT
