Sesame Street in In My World

I’m sitting here at work with Helen laying in my lap with her blanket watching Sesame Street. Shes sucking her thumb and yawning. Shes got a red mark on her face from this morning when she tripped and hit in on a toy.

I am exhausted and finding it hard to keep my eyes open. I havent really eaten yet so once I put her down for a nap that’s the first thing I’m going to do. I’m alright, not too bad. I didnt get much sleep.

Shes warm in my lap and she rarely cuddles.

I want to remember moments like these.

I want to have moments like these with my own babies, too.
