FMLA revised in Second 1st

Had a real good conversation with the Doc. She said she was proud of how I’ve been handling the low sodium diet and talks about me to her other Meniere’s patients. She has one lady who just keep taking the Valium and hasn’t done a thing about her diet. I on the other had have overhauled everything and am still having dizziness. So she prescribed a diuretic I will start in the morning.

We talked about FMLA and how absurd they are about it in HR so she’s going to ADD a restriction of 36 hours. So I can only work 36 hours and can take off 3 days a month on top of that. That’s what we expected to begin with. I should be okay with that. I faxed over a fresh FMLA paper for her to send to Reed Group (the guys who take care of that).

She said I need more rest. That with all the OT I really haven’t given myself a chance to get to a level that one small mistake won’t put me out for 3 days. Adding the rest and diuretics and an appointment in a month to see how that’s going.

She’s going to talk to the audiologist about setting me up for a hearing aid and I should expect to hear from them soon to schedule an appointment.

It’s only 5:30pm and I’m wiped. I’m going to chill with the Leopard and watch some of The Office. Then hopefully be asleep by 8:00.... I have got to make it ..... I’ve got to.
